JR100940**Who we are looking for:**First Eagle is seeking an Institutional Business Development Associate who can support the client facing teams throughout the entire sales, servicing, consultant relations, and retention process.
This person will work with the firm’s institutional client base, prospects, and their investment consultants to showcase the full investment capabilities of the firm, with an emphasis on the firm’s public equity strategies.**What you will do:*** Partner with external facing professionals to assist in managing their institutional relationships, including existing clients, consultants and/or prospects.* Serve as day-to-day contact for client/prospect requests. Respond to any ad-hoc requests (e.g., performance, market values, attribution, portfolio data, stock commentary, AUM & Flows data) in a timely manner and complete recurring monthly and quarterly reports.* Review and, where appropriate, help to produce external communications (e.g. presentations, RFPs), ensuring timely responses and best-in-class articulation of key messages.* Ownership and upkeep of all Salesforce contacts, distribution lists, pipeline updates, materials tracking, and watch list/heatmap (if applicable) for their respective team – Salesforce “general hygiene”. Work with Admins to maintain up-to date record of meeting shells/meeting notes for their respective team.* Review all information for First Eagle investment strategies to investment consultant and third-party databases on an annual basis.* Research and apply individual consulting firm, client and prospect analysis to tailored thought leadership campaigns.* Diagnose inefficiencies in data gathering / reporting processes; streamline and/or contribute solutions for these inefficiencies.* Gather monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio analytics for Product Specialists, Portfolio Managers, and Investment Analysts ahead of meetings.* Conduct thorough meeting preparation; research each client and/or consultant in advance of each meeting; coordinate prep calls and prep memos with necessary investment teams and other key internal teams. Coordinate all follow-ups necessary from meetings.**The qualities you should have:*** Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, business, or economics* 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry* Dynamic and effective communication skills, focus and perseverance* Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a team player* Knowledge of financial markets and basic economic principles* Determined, driven, and goal-oriented* Attentive to detail and organized* Humble, “no task too small” attitude with a hunger to learn* Curious about the industry and self-motivatedBase Salary range: $100,000 - $135,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
