$21.63 - $23.08/hour Position Description: An Advancement Associate supports Keystone’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts, helping to secure resources that sustain and grow programs serving our community. This position works closely with the Advancement team to manage donor communications, track fundraising activities, and support special events and campaigns throughout the organization. Essential Functions: 70% - Advancement Department Support Maintains accurate recordkeeping in the Keystone Donor Database. Generates acknowledgement letters, donor communications, and department reports (gift and data reports). Responds to calls and emails, direct inquiries to appropriate team members. Serves as the primary contact and coordinates all processes related to in-kind gifts and donation drives including Food and Bike donations. Works with other Keystone departments coordinating the delivery of received in-kind gifts to Keystone locations. Provides additional administrative support for all departments reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, including Communications and Marketing, Volunteers, and Advancement/Fundraising. 25% - Community Outreach and Events Support Assist in executing fundraising activities and events including annual giving, corporate sponsorships, and grants. Coordinate logistics for Keystone events such as food drives, community tabling events, and other engagement opportunities 5% - Other Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualification Requirements 1-3 years of experience in Advancement/Fundraising or Non-Profit Administration. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced and mission driven environment. Strong communication skills across email, phone and in-person interactions with the ability to convey professionalism and confidentially when interacting with donors and stakeholders. Proficiency in tracking and managing relationships with current and prospecting clients through donor database. Tech savvy and comfortable learning new software and databases. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc) Qualification Preferences A bachelor’s or advanced degree in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Prior experience working in a donor data base such as DonorPerfect, Raisersedge, Salesforce, or similar system. Physical/Mental Requirements Physical working conditions include frequent computer work and telephone calls in an office setting. In addition, this position will require the ability to travel for community events and being able to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds for event and/or donation logistics. Mental requirements include ability to provide verbal and written communications to internal and external partners, while interacting professionally with Keystone staff, management, clients in the community and other social organizations. Equipment/technology requirements include familiarity with Microsoft Office software, copier and fax machine.
