In this position, you will provide on‑site technical product services including installations, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and repairs for customers/sales group. This job is not eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions. Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Installs, services, and repairs medical device equipment in external facilities to support sales team and customers.
Functions as a primary resource for stakeholders.
Provides frequent status updates and documented service reports to stakeholders.
Operate efficiently to conclude all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test activities to factory specifications and perform other additional duties or projects as assigned.
Ensures that installation, maintenance, and other necessary work is completed on time.
Identifies problems and recommends resolutions on existing products and procedures.
Analyze service data, to schedule proactive and reactive service.
Work closely with colleagues for knowledge and skills transfer.
Ability to operate and maintain a corporate vehicle.
Maintain trunk inventory, manage, and preserve calibrated test equipment and other electronic devices.
Able to lift or move 50lbs, stand, squat, kneel, reach for extended periods of time, utilize hand tools, electronic test equipment to repair medical lasers and other medical devices.
Ability to acclimate to modified schedules.
EDUCATION
Minimum of Associate’s degree or Technical Certification is required (Electronics, Bio‑Medical, Optical, Mechanical).
REQUIRED
Minimum of 2 years of related experience required.
Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Tableau, and similar software.
Maintains required healthcare vendor credentialing as an employee of J&J Vision.
Remote position with approximately 75% domestic and international travel.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information and understand customer concerns.
Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Effective time‑management skills to manage appointments and maintain schedules.
High attention to detail, with the ability to identify issues and complete accurate service reports.
Strong organizational skills to manage tools, documentation, and paperwork while in the field.
Technical aptitude to fully understand and work with equipment.
This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program.
This position is overtime eligible.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $55,000.00 - $88,550.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado – 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period 10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time‑Off – 80 hours per calendar year
