Commission-Based Compensation. Benefits of being a groomer at Woof Gang Bakery You can expect to earn $ 83,200- $135,200 per year on 50% commission and 100% tips. What Makes Us Different: Focus on quality, not rushing A caring, inclusive, and team-based environment Professional training & mentorship available Grooming is an art – and we support your creativity What you'll do: Provide professional grooming services (bathing, scissoring, breed-specific cuts, grooming, de-matting, nail trimming, etc.) Build positive relationships with pets and their owners Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets Collaborate with an experienced and supportive grooming team Assess each pet’s health condition during grooming sessions, alerting pet parents and/or veterinary professionals if any concerns arise Maintain a clean, organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and workspaces regularly Provide excellent customer check out service by communicating with pet owners about grooming preferences and aftercare instructions Assist with dog training or behavioral techniques to help pets stay calm during grooming procedures What we're looking for: Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience in a independent professional environment Strong handling and scissoring skills Passion, patience, and love for animals Team player with excellent customer service skills Knowledge of dog handling, familiar with various breeds, animal restraint and safety, and pet care best practices essential for safe grooming sessions Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience valuable for understanding animal health signals Dog training skills beneficial to help pets stay relaxed and cooperative during grooming Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to handle larger animals or equipment safely Join us if you’re passionate about animal welfare, thrive in a lively environment, and want to make a real difference in pets’ lives through expert grooming and compassionate care.
