Dog Bather/Groomer

The Dog Stop® is in need of an enthusiastic, dog loving Bather. Bathing/Grooming is offered seven days a week, so weekend days may be a requirement, and applicants should be willing to work 5 days per week. We offer hourly pay, plus potential commission for full grooms and other grooming services.

Duties Include

Baths for all size dogs

Walk‑in nail trims and gland expressions

Customer relations – develop relationships with clientele and their dogs. You should be able to explain to customers the length of time to complete the requested service.

Managing busy grooming schedules and communicating progress to receptionists and clients.

Maintaining a clean grooming room

Keep track of inventory

Upkeep grooming tools

Organize and update client profiles

At least one year of bathing/grooming experience with a wide variety of sizes and breeds of dogs
