What you will be doing:

The Key Account Manager is responsible to keep commercial contacts with the Customer.

He's responsible for the offer management and contract review processes. The nomination letter he receives from the Customer is the triggering criterion for the following product development process. The Key Account manager will sell systems, antennas, speakers, software packages and audio.

What you'll need to be successful (must haves):

  • Responsible for the relationship with Customers (worldwide)
  • Regular customer visits (frequency depending on customer configuration and attitude/project status and RFQ`s)
  • Managing the customer worldwide (first contact person, make presentations at the customer)
  • Collect all necessary information from the customer (model planning, quantities, strategy)
  • Participate/manage customer visits, Kick Off Meetings, Audits...
  • Manage all commercial issues coming from daily business (logistic demand, samples, etc.)
  • Support all customer contact persons RFQ and Offer Management
  • Price-, development-, tooling- and sample cost negotiation with the customer (within internally approved boundary conditions) RFQ and Offer management according to internal Company process (Quota / payback)
  • Prepare the "RFQ package " with all the input data available and initiate the RFQ process in "Quarta " Support the whole RFQ process and upload in Quarta all commercial data and documents
  • Develop the business with the customer Internal Interface
  • Maintain price list information and program lifetime dates (EOP, SOP)
  • Prepare sales Budget (deadlines defined by Client manager) and mid-term sales Forecast plan
  • Analyze "portfolio " information and trends upon request by Client Manager or CEO (at least monthly) Manage the distribution and approval of all customer contracts
  • Support the product marketing activities (market data, competitor information, shares... Constraints The price of the product must be agreed with Client Manager, PM Manager and CEO.

Essentials:

  • Must have experience with core competencies in the north American market along with selling components.
  • Strong knowledge and relationship with OEMS would be a plus. (Stellantis, GM, Ford experience or knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • 5+ years of Audio components and related cable or wire harness systems experience is required.
