
Social Media Manager

LHH is partnering with a well‑established, California‑based Legal firm to hire a Social Media Manager. This role supports firmwide social media strategies to build scale and manage the social presence across organic and paid channels.. To be a fit for this role you should bring at least 4 years of experience in Social Media Strategy within the legal industry.
This role is ideal for a Social Media guru who thinks strategically about social media while executing across a variety of channels. The role operates in a hybrid setting in San Diego, and offers a salary of $100,000-$120,000, depending on experience. There are robust benefits as well for employees.
Responsibilities
- Own and scale organic and paid social strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Develop and manage individual executive/attorney social presence while ensuring alignment with overall brand standards.
- Create toolkits, templates, and best practices for internal subject-matter experts, including guidance on Canva, content prompts, and posting cadence.
- Partner closely with design and video team members to manage workflows, schedules, and approvals.
- Oversee social publishing, analytics, and reporting using tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Asana, Monday, and platform analytics.
- Collaborate with additional junior social team members to align on content and strategies.
- Support live events, conferences, and on-site activations, including occasional travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
- 4+ years of social media experience, ideally in professional services, agency, or regulated industries.
- Proven experience building and scaling social media programs from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of executive-level or thought-leadership content.
- Experience managing direct reports and cross-functional partners.
- Experience in Legal industry is required
