Advertising Strategist - Amazon

Senior-level digital strategist responsible for owning and optimizing Amazon advertising campaigns, driving performance and ROI through data-driven decision-making. Acts as a subject matter expert, leads key initiatives, and mentors junior team members while partnering cross-functionally to align strategy with client goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage Amazon search advertising campaigns across multiple clients
  • Develop and execute digital advertising strategies to drive ROI and performance
  • Analyze campaign data and translate insights into actionable optimization plans
  • Align advertising strategies with overall retail and client business objectives
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform campaign direction
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve campaign performance and impact
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams and clients on performance and strategy
  • Leverage tools (including AI) to improve efficiency and campaign outcomes
  • Lead projects and drive initiatives that improve operational performance and client satisfaction
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in key functional areas and contribute to training content
  • Mentor junior team members and support team development
  • Participate in team scrums, training, and ongoing knowledge development
  • Ensure performance meets or exceeds established KPIs


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, including agency experience
  • Strong experience with Amazon Ads (Amazon Ad Console required)
  • Experience with additional platforms (Google Ads, Walmart Connect, or similar) preferred
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize performance-driven ad campaigns
  • Strong analytical, data-driven mindset with ability to interpret and act on data
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and clients
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead initiatives
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience mentoring or training junior team members preferred


Salary Expectations:

  • $90-150k
