About Agency 3-2

Agency 3-2 is a sports and entertainment marketing agency built at the intersection of brand, culture, and experience. They work with the biggest names in sport — Nike, Jordan Brand — and they're scaling. The founder is ready to step fully into business development mode, and that means she needs a true right hand: someone who can own the engine of this operation so she can focus on growth.

About the role

This is a true number-two seat. You're not here to be an executive assistant or a project manager — you're here to run the business alongside the founder. You'll own resourcing, day-to-day project operations, team oversight, and a growing slice of everything in between. As trust builds, so does your ownership.

Agency 3-2 is founder-led and fast-moving. The work is exhilarating — think Super Bowl activations, All-Star events, and campaigns for some of the most iconic brands in culture. It's also demanding. You need to be someone who doesn't watch the clock, reads the room, and runs toward problems.

What you'll own

  • Freelancer resourcing end-to-end — sourcing producers, interviewing, hiring, contracting, onboarding, and setting them up for success on every project
  • Project operations — daily check-ins across all active projects, ensuring runs of show make sense, and serving as the first quality gate before anything reaches the founder or client
  • Budget oversight — tracking and reconciling project budgets across all active work, coordinating between producers and accounting for shared resources
  • Team management support — working alongside the ops manager and creative director to keep the team aligned, motivated, and accountable
  • Capabilities and marketing — updating the agency's capabilities deck after marquee projects and eventually owning social media presence
  • 3-2 Design support — as the agency's in-house customization arm grows, providing operational oversight in that division as well

What success looks like

  • Within 30 days: you know every producer, every active project, and every process — and you've taken resourcing off the founder's plate entirely
  • Within 60 days: the founder is reviewing final outputs, not first drafts — you are the first set of eyes on all client-facing materials
  • Within 90 days: the founder trusts you enough to step back from daily project check-ins and lean fully into business development

Who you are

  • You have a background in experiential marketing, event production, or sports/entertainment — you understand this world viscerally, not conceptually
  • You've led people and managed up, down, and sideways — you can coach a junior producer through a hard moment and hold your ground with a difficult client
  • You have exceptional taste — you know what great looks like before it's explained to you
  • You communicate directly: concise, clear, no fluff
  • You have thick skin and a growth mindset — feedback lands as data, not criticism
  • Former athlete? That's a significant advantage. The mentality of high performance, coachability, and competing under pressure maps directly to what this role demands
  • You're passionate about the space — Jordan Brand, Nike, sneaker culture, fashion, sports. This isn't just a job to you; it's a world you live in

Working style

This is not a 9-to-5. Peak season (think January through February around Super Bowl and All-Star) can mean 12+ producers in motion simultaneously and long days. Slower months exist too, and you'll use them to build, refine, and breathe. The founder's brain doesn't stop at 5pm, and neither does yours. What you get in return: real ownership, real visibility, and the opportunity to grow with a brand that is only getting bigger.

A note on culture fit

If you're drawn to this role because you want to be around athletes and celebrities, this is not the right opportunity. Agency 3-2 works with iconic brands and talent, and the expectation is that you treat every interaction with the same professionalism. The ideal candidate is someone who is genuinely energized by the work, not the proximity to fame. You also need to be comfortable with ambiguity, fast context-switching, and a founder who moves quickly and expects the same.

Agency 3-2 is building something real in sports and entertainment marketing and this hire is the key unlock. If you've been the person behind the scenes who made everything work, this is your seat.
