Job Title: Coding Specialist – OB/GYN (ProFee)
Duration: 10 Weeks (Contract to Hire)
Shift: Day Shift | (5*8) |(8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Schedule: (Monday–Friday)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ProFee Coding Specialist (OB/GYN) to review provider documentation and accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes. This is a fully remote role focused on professional fee coding, compliance, and revenue cycle support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for OB/GYN professional services
Review operative reports and physician documentation for accurate coding
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maximize charge capture
Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to resolve coding issues
Maintain productivity, accuracy, and coding quality standards
Participate in audits, training, and process improvements
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of OB/GYN ProFee coding experience
Required certification: CPC or CCS-P
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
Experience coding OB/GYN surgical procedures (preferred)
