Commercial Roofing Estimator

$85,000 - $105,000 per year
We are partnered with a growing commercial roofing contractor seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This role plays a key part in supporting project wins by developing accurate, competitive bids and working closely with internal teams and external partners throughout the estimating process.
This is a great opportunity for someone who understands commercial roofing systems and enjoys being involved from preconstruction through project handoff.
What You’ll Be Doing
Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
Perform material takeoffs and quantify roofing components
Analyze drawings and specs to ensure scope accuracy and completeness
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to align on scope and execution
Communicate with general contractors and clients during the bid process
Prepare detailed, competitive proposals using internal estimating tools
Update and revise estimates based on addendums or scope changes
Follow up on submitted bids to support project awardsEnsure a smooth handoff of awarded projects to operations and project management
What We’re Looking For
Experience estimating commercial roofing projects
Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable working with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office tools
