Position Overview We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing 3PL organization in Coppell, TX. This is a fully onsite role focused on outbound sales and pipeline generation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at prospecting, and is motivated by creating new business opportunities that drive revenue growth.

Primary Function The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating a robust sales pipeline through proactive outbound efforts. This role is centered on identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients, ultimately creating high-quality sales opportunities for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Execute outbound prospecting strategies including market research, cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events

Identify and engage potential clients within target markets to generate new business opportunities

Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings with qualified prospects

Conduct early-stage qualification to assess client fit, business needs, and project timelines

Maintain consistent and accurate activity tracking within Salesforce (SFDC)

Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to advance small and mid-market opportunities through proposal, negotiation, and close

Build and maintain a strong pipeline to support revenue targets

Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the 3PL space

Qualifications

2–5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or logistics/3PL industry preferred

Proven track record of outbound prospecting and pipeline generation

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce (SFDC)

Ability to quickly assess customer needs and qualify opportunities effectively

Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability

Comfortable working in an onsite, high-performance sales environment
