DuBois & King (D&K) seeks a self‑motivated Marketing Associate with
8 to 12 years
of experience to join the collaborative Marketing and Business Development team of a growing engineering firm. D&K provides diverse professional consulting services ranging from mechanical or civil engineering to wetland science to municipal master planning throughout the Northeast and beyond.
This in‑office position will be based in Randolph, Vermont.

Subject: Marketing Associate position
The preferred candidate will have a strong work ethic, creative energy, and be organized and proficient at juggling multiple priorities under strict deadlines while working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Develop proposals (write, copyedit, and proofread), qualification packages, outlines, and agendas.
Proofread and copyedit marketing materials.
Manage large amounts of information.
Mentor junior staff on proposal development and assist with maintaining the proposal schedule.
Search for, identify, and distribute proposal solicitations as directed by the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director.
Travel to other offices, conferences, trade shows, and career fairs on occasion.
Create and deliver press releases.
Develop social media program and content.
Work with the Marketing Manager and Director to strategize and oversee the procurement of photo and video assets.
Recommend, implement, and maintain website.
Create and deliver marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
Establish and maintain working relationships with other D&K staff and external teaming partners.
Serve as an effective team member of the Marketing Division.
Qualifications
Strong grammar, writing, and graphic design skills.
Flexibility.
Self‑motivation, and desire to collaborate as a team.
Mac‑based Adobe Creative Suite (required).
Google and Microsoft applications (optional).
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field plus 8 years of experience.
Compensation Range The salary range for this position is $58,000 – $78,000, plus employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
