Commercial Escrow Officer
Position can sit in Miami or Fort Myers division office***
Hybrid schedule 3 days in office and 2 days remote***

Ensures accuracy, compliance, and seamless closing processes across complex transactions. Responsibilities
Lead the closing of both simple and complex commercial escrow transactions from opening through funding and final disbursement
Prepare, review, and execute escrow instructions and all supporting closing documents
Analyze title commitments/preliminary reports, verify vesting and legal descriptions, and resolve discrepancies with title officers, underwriters, and principals
Communicate directly with title examiners and underwriters to address attorney objection letters and clear title requirements
Coordinate closely with Managers and team members to ensure efficient daily operations and file progression
Calculate closing figures, estimate required funds, and secure buyer and seller deposits
Order and manage all necessary third-party items, including beneficiary statements, insurance, interest, and prorations
Direct and/or prepare settlement statements and ensure accuracy of all financials
Audit and finalize files once all funds and documents are received; oversee proper disbursement of funds
Ensure full compliance with escrow accounting procedures, Good Funds Law, and internal policies
Maintain strict confidentiality of all escrow transactions and proprietary information
Train, mentor, and delegate work to team members to support overall office performance
Prepare account servicing setups, as applicable
Accurately quote fees and apply Rate Manual guidelines
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of Commercial Escrow Officer experience, with demonstrated ability to handle both simple and complex transactions
Strong knowledge of escrow processes, title requirements, and closing procedures
Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
Active Notary Public commission preferred (or ability to obtain)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
