About SedMed SedMed is a medical device company operating across both direct-to-consumer and acute healthcare channels, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and senior living communities. We are building a product and a brand that supports patients, residents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Our flagship product, the SedMed Toilet Lift Assist, is a hydraulic toilet lift that mounts directly onto the toilet to assist individuals with sitting and standing. SedMed is designed to improve quality of life for people with mobility challenges while reducing physical strain and injury risk for caregivers.

The Role We are hiring a full-time Marketing & Content Producer to elevate SedMed’s marketing and content execution. This is not a senior role—we are looking for someone early in their career who is ready to own content end-to-end, work hands-on in production, and grow with the company.

You will be responsible for creating and managing content across video, social, and marketing channels, with a strong emphasis on video production. You’ll work out of our well-equipped studio with professional lighting, cameras, and production resources, and you’ll have real ownership over output that is used across marketing, sales, training, and operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in film, lighting, or media production who has also done hands-on content work and is eager to take responsibility.

Key Responsibilities Content Ownership & Marketing Execution

Take primary ownership of SedMed’s content production pipeline

Elevate the quality, consistency, and output of marketing content

Own content from ideation through production, launch, and iteration

Support broader marketing initiatives beyond video (copy, print, messaging)

Video Production (Core Focus)

Manage the full video production lifecycle:

Planning, ideation, and storyboarding

Scripting and shot planning

Filming and production

Editing and final delivery

Produce high-quality video content for:

Brand and company marketing

Training and operational content

Ensure content aligns with brand standards and business goals

Collaborate with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams

Work with external vendors or partners as needed

Support go-live execution and post-launch iteration

As the company grows, expand into marketing operations, coordination, and strategy

About You

Early-career professional (not senior) with strong hands-on capability

Background in film, video production, lighting, or media-related work

Experience creating content for marketing, social media, or brand use

Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of deliverables

Organized, motivated, and execution-oriented

Willing to wear many hats and jump in where needed

Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-moving startup environment

Comfortable working in-office as part of a hybrid schedule

Technical Skills

Experience with video editing tools such as:

Final Cut Pro

Familiarity with lighting, cameras, and studio setups is strongly preferred

Interest in growing beyond content creation into broader marketing execution
