Responsibilities

Take a proactive approach to self‑development and actively give/receive feedback through one‑on‑ones and coaching.

Act and commit to all training tools provided (5C’s of customer excellence, product knowledge, etc.).

Support and promote new business initiatives to create a positive reception from the sales team.

Demonstrate professional etiquette through integrity, honesty and respect for others.

Build on personal professional sales experience to become more knowledgeable and effective as a store leader.

Uphold customer service and training standards in the store, exemplifying excellence in customer service responsibilities.

Identify and communicate training needs to management.

Consistently build and develop a proactive clientele business through social engagement and relationship skills.

Consistently deliver value‑added services to enhance customer experience.

Maintain merchandise according to the Company’s visual presentation standards.

Actively participate in upholding the brand aesthetic in all merchandising activities, including but not limited to daily stock maintenance, product transfers, folding and floor changeovers.

Demonstrate a true passion and respect for the product.

Utilize product knowledge and selling tools to strengthen expertise.

Meet and exceed personal sales and SPH goals.

Perform opening/closing procedures of the store, complete returns and exchanges in the absence of a manager.

Partner with managers in checking task tracker and retail web for weekly updates.

Utilize the CEM role, manage, mentor, and coach the sales team to take a proactive approach to expanding their clientele and maximizing sales.

Support the management team with the maintenance of daily tasks and communicate tasks to management and associates.

Compensation $18 - $26 hourly

Qualifications

Enthusiasm and ability to build and maintain an environment that projects Ralph Lauren’s desired elevated image and character.

Ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork, motivation and staff development skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Analytical skills, business acumen, financial acumen.

Relevant work experience preferred.

Strong computer skills preferred: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, and Outlook.

Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift up to 30 lbs., and climb a ladder as trained under RL Health & Safety guidelines.

Ability to operate the register, stand, move, and walk for multiple hours.
