Basic Job Functions: The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a critical role in supporting the commercial success of the Nucor Cold Finish Group. This teammate serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing the order lifecycle from quote through shipment and invoicing while coordinating closely with Sales, Production, Shipping, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely execution. This role works in tandem with Nucor Cold Finish Wisconsin and Nucor Bright Bar Ohio. The ISR is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities to grow volume and margin, and supporting profitable market share growth in alignment with division goals. This role also supports forecasting and demand planning efforts and assists with developing new customer relationships. Travel may be required periodically to visit customers or other Nucor locations to support business needs. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: 1-year Customer Service or Account Support experience Strong communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Office High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: • Previous inside sales or account management experience • Experience in cold finish, steel, or manufacturing • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience
