The Opportunity

We’re working with a fast-growing engineering team developing next-generation RF and microwave hardware for space, airborne, and high-performance communication platforms. This is a hands‑on role for an RF Engineer who enjoys owning designs end‑to‑end and working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-moving, product-focused environment.

If you’re passionate about board-level RF design, enjoy seeing your work go from concept to test and deployment, and want to build hardware that operates in demanding real-world environments, this role offers genuine technical depth and autonomy.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Board-level RF electronics design from concept through production
  • RF front-ends, frequency conversion, filtering, power distribution, and signal conditioning
  • System-level communications concepts including link budgets and modulation fundamentals
  • Schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, simulation, and design validation
  • Hands‑on lab testing, debugging, and RF performance characterization

This role is highly hands‑on and suited to engineers who enjoy building, testing, and refining real hardware.

What We’re Looking For

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • 5+ years of industry experience in RF / microwave circuit design and analysis
  • Strong experience with board-level RF schematic design and PCB layout
  • Proficiency with RF simulation and EDA tools (e.g. ADS, CST, Altium or similar)
  • Comfortable working with RF lab equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions to both engineers and non-engineers

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Work on cutting-edge RF hardware used in advanced aerospace and communication systems
  • High level of technical ownership and autonomy
  • Collaborative engineering culture with short design cycles
  • Strong emphasis on hands‑on engineering, not paperwork
  • Based in Austin, TX, with a team that values in-person collaboration
