Role: Product Designer (UX Research + Product Design) | YC-Backed Security Startup

Travel: 10–20% (customer-facing exposure)

Salary Range: $150,000 - $225,000 (Yearly)

We’re hiring a Product Designer to join a fast-growing, YC-backed security startup building cutting-edge solutions for law enforcement and investigative workflows. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own end-to-end UX and product design, working directly with users (detectives, investigators, analysts) to transform complex data into intuitive, high-utility workflows.

What You’ll Do

Conduct deep UX research with real-world users (law enforcement / investigative teams)

Translate complex workflows into intuitive product experiences

Collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and AI teams

Build and refine product requirements (PRDs) and UX systems

Rapidly prototype and test ideas in a fast-paced startup environment

What We’re Looking For

3+ years in Product Design / UX / UX Research

Experience designing complex, data-heavy or workflow-driven products

Strong ability to convert user insights → actionable product improvements

Prior experience in high-growth startups or elite tech environments

Comfortable working directly with customers and stakeholders

Ability to write clear product specs / PRDs

Ideal Profile
