Marketing Automation Specialist

Join the Waters Biosciences team and play a critical role in enabling high-impact marketing campaigns and customer engagement. This position supports marketing initiatives through Marketo and its integrations with Salesforce and other digital marketing tools, helping ensure campaigns run efficiently, data flows reliably, and performance insights are actionable. You will work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager to design, build, and support scalable marketing automation solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on execution, problem-solving, and collaborating across teams to deliver seamless campaign execution in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution Ensure email campaigns, nurture programs, and lead scoring models run smoothly. Identify, track and implement new ideas to improve workflow and platform efficiency. Responsible for the daily technical operations of Marketo, proactively monitoring system health and swiftly resolving any issues. Provide support for email and digital campaigns in Marketo and connected platforms. Support and follow established governance frameworks to ensure operational scalability and regulatory compliance, while learning best practices across the marketing technology stack. Provide support for tactical execution of campaigns as needed. Technology & Integration Support integration efforts across Marketo and related systems (e.g., Salesforce, social and event platforms and other lead capture applications). Support interoperability across the Martech stack and enable dynamic, personalized campaigns that drive measurable impact. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with the Marketing Managers to support marketing campaigns and lead generation activities. Serve as a liaison between technical, operational, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution. Support downstream marketing activities as needed, including assistance with email campaigns, webinars, events, promotional programs and collateral production. Qualifications 3-5 years experience in marketing preferred; with 2 years experience in marketing automation platforms (Marketo experience preferred; certification a plus). Familiarity with marketing automation, lead lifecycle management, and campaign operations. Strong QA and troubleshooting skills Experience with Salesforce (SFDC), and other martech applications (e.g., iCapture, Captello, CVENT, etc) preferred Familiarity with data privacy regulations and governance practices (GDPR, CANSPAM, etc) Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a matrixed organization Ability to execute tactically in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, computer science or other related fields required Why Join Us?
