Compensation:$45,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Visit with, follow up, call, and coach existing and prospective clients on commercial insurance policies as part of the company’s commitment to high-level personal attention and customer service
- Support clients efforts to decrease or eliminate the propensity for insurance claims by presenting them with reliable risk management reports
- Negotiate insurance coverage terms and conditions with management teams after thoroughly determining the clients’ commercial insurance needs against available insurance products
- Remain educated on all insurance coverage provisions, the overall insurance industry, regulations, and pertinent legislation to ensure customers understand their coverage terms and insurance services in the process
- Maintain a solid book of business for existing clients, and grow new business base through a range of networking and sales tactics, including cold calling and prospecting for potential customers to effectively articulate the company’s competitive advantage and new products
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, sales, marketing, or other related fields - high school diploma is required
- Stellar research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential
- Previous experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for commercial lines
- A wealth of knowledge or willingness to learn about commercial enterprise procedures that can facilitate accurate policy recommendations
- Valid, state issued insurance license is mandatory: Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License
