Geospatial UI/UX Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is seeking an experienced TS/SCI Cleared UI/UX Project Engineer to join our Agile Software Development Team. The program’s mission is to provide visualization services that facilitate access to GEOINT data and products in an online, on-demand environment to agencies across the Federal Government.

Responsibilities:

• Develop system architectures for complex geospatial UI/UX solutions.
• Coordinate and oversee project tasks distributed across multiple teams.
• Apply user-centered design principles and human–computer interaction best practices.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, development, or a related field.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction.
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (Section 508, WCAG).

Preferred Skills:

• Background in GEOINT and experience with 2D/3D geospatial user interfaces.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI-powered design tools.
• Experience with design systems and style guides (e.g., Material Design, Bootstrap).
• Certification in UX/UI design or accessibility (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group, Adobe, WCAG 2.1).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
