Our brands reach millions across platforms, and we’re looking for a skilled Social Media Editor to help us scale high-quality, engaging content across both short-form and long-form formats. Role Overview We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented editor who can transform raw footage into compelling content tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube (long-form). This role requires someone who understands pacing, storytelling, audience retention, and how to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity. Key Responsibilities Edit high-volume short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimized for engagement and virality Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong storytelling, pacing, and retention strategies Collaborate with our content and social teams to align edits with brand voice and goals Incorporate captions, graphics, sound effects, and music to elevate content quality Utilize AI tools for editing, captioning, clipping, and workflow optimization Stay up-to-date with social media trends, formats, and platform best practices Organize and manage media assets efficiently Qualifications Proven experience editing both short-form and long-form social media content Strong proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) Experience using AI tools (e.g., automated clipping, captions, voice tools, or generative editing tools) Deep understanding of viral content structure and audience retention Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality Strong attention to detail and ability to take feedback Strong animal knowledge Bonus Points Experience working with viral or high-growth social media brands Familiarity with animal, entertainment, or educational content Motion graphics or animation experience Thumbnail design and YouTube optimization knowledge What We Offer Opportunity to work with viral, high-impact content Creative freedom and fast-paced environment Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding media company #J-18808-Ljbffr
