Business Development & Sales Manager, Europe Aberdeen or Stavanger Full-Time, Permanent Offshore Decommissioning Control Cutter is a specialist offshore decommissioning company headquartered in Tananger, Norway, with offices in the UK and the US. The Role The Business Development & Sales Manager, Europe will be responsible for driving the adoption and sales of Control Cutter’s full-service decommissioning solutions within the European market — both topside and subsea. You will play a key role in executing the regional sales strategy, owning the full sales cycle and subsequent project oversight. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated professional with a deep understanding of the offshore energy sector, a proven ability to close technical service sales, and the commercial acumen to see projects through to successful completion. This is a foundational role with significant opportunity for growth as the company expands. Key Responsibilities Identify and target key clients — operators, service companies, and engineering firms Proactively generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline Manage the full sales process from initial contact to closing Develop proposals, lead technical presentations, and negotiate contracts Project & Commercial Project manage engagements from sale through to delivery Act as primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle Protect and advance both client and Control Cutter’s commercial interests Identify upselling opportunities and maximise revenue and margins Client Relationships Cultivate long‑lasting relationships with new and existing clients Act as a trusted advisor demonstrating ongoing value of our solutions Ensure high customer satisfaction to foster repeat business Represent Control Cutter at industry conferences and trade shows Develop deep technical understanding of Control Cutter’s products Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback Provide regular market insights and sales forecasts to Group Head of Sales Collaborate with operations teams for smooth sales‑to‑execution handover Qualifications & Experience Degree in engineering, business, or related field — engineering background preferred 5–10+ years in technical sales or business development in offshore energy Verifiable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Strong knowledge of European decommissioning, subsea, or well intervention markets Existing network within major operators and service companies is a significant advantage Proficiency with CRM software for pipeline management Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events Personal Qualities Self‑starter with high motivation and ability to work independently Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Strong commercial acumen with attention to margins and project profitability Collaborative team player aligned with broader regional strategy Professional and credible representative of the Control Cutter brand What We Offer A foundational role with significant growth opportunity as the company expands Represent patented, cutting‑edge decommissioning solutions in a high‑value niche market Competitive salary and performance‑based incentive structure Short decision paths and direct access to senior leadership Real autonomy to build and own your regional pipeline Represent a growing company at the forefront of offshore decommissioning Send your CV and a short cover letter — we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
