Marketing Officer – Orange Walk

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Advertising or related field. 2-5 years’ work experience in the related field will be an asset Prospective candidates must meet the following requirements: Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods Be proactive and sensitive to the potential impact of dynamic market/issues. Have a strong customer-oriented approach and excellent negotiation skills Have a strong, creative, and enthusiastic approach to design and new campaigns Possess a highly developed capacity to produce written and visual promotional materials Have a background in organizing trade shows and customer events to raise brand awareness and give presentations Have a strong background in developing marketing materials, advertising, and promotional campaigns in a variety of media (social, print, etc.) to generate sales leads and produce press releases Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, or similar Creative/Graphic Design Software (Experience in Web Design would be an asset) Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics Additional requirements for all candidates : High level of confidentiality and integrity Must have strong initiative and assertiveness Must be results-oriented with strong analytical skills Ability to maintain high ethical and professional standards Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to work well under pressure Be team-oriented, proactive, and possess a positive attitude Be willing to work flexible hours Be fluent in English and Spanish, both written and oral Knowledge in Anti-Money Laundering, Combating the Financing of Terrorism Laws & Combating Proliferation Finance Knowledge of the banking industry in Belize and general regulatory procedures mandated by the Central Bank of Belize. (Knowledge of the Credit Union Act will be an asset.)
