Job Description
This is a remote position.
ABOUT ARK PRODUCTS
ARK Products designs and manufactures sensory and oral motor tools used by families, therapists, schools, and adults worldwide. Founded by a speech-language pathologist and engineer, we've spent 25+ years building products that help people regulate, focus, and develop skills in everyday life — from chew tools and therapy tools to a growing ecosystem of sensory supports.
We're a lean team based in Columbia, SC. Our products are made in the USA, sold across 67 countries, and trusted by millions. We're growing our content and education presence and are looking for a sharp, self-directed operator to help us build something durable.
THE ROLE
We're building a creator-led content program from the ground up — and we need someone to run it.
This is a fractional 1099 role for an experienced content manager who can take ownership of the system: recruiting and managing a small roster of VIP creators and larger list of affiliates / influencers / collaborators, writing tight briefs, tracking performance, and keeping everything moving without a lot of hand-holding. You'll work closely with our VP of Sales & Marketing and have clear guidelines and a defined strategy to build from.
This isn't a 'post more content' role. It's an operational and editorial role for someone who understands the mechanics of creating content that provides true value to a community (quality over quantity).
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Creator Program Management
Identify, vet, and recruit VIP creators who already know and use ARK products
Manage ongoing creator relationships: briefs, deadlines, revisions, and feedback
Onboard and maintain affiliate creators and other special collaborations as the program scales
Track submissions, publish dates, and performance across a simple shared tracker
Translate ARK's voice, messaging framework, and content strategy into clear creative direction for each creator
Review creator submissions and provide editorial feedback before final approval
Performance & Reporting
Deliver a concise monthly summary: what was produced, what performed, creator status, next month's focus
Flag issues early — quality misses, missed deadlines, creator fit concerns
Requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-haves
Proven experience managing freelance or creator relationships — not just creating content yourself
Strong editorial instincts — you can read a piece and quickly identify what's working and what isn't
Excellent brief-writing skills — you can take a strategic direction and translate it into a concrete, creator-ready document
Self-directed and organized — you independently hit deadlines and keep a roster moving
Comfortable with applicable tech tools — such as AgoraPulse and AI
Strong fit if you have
Background in or genuine familiarity with the sensory, therapy, special education, or neurodiversity space; you don't need to be a clinician, but you need to understand the audience
Experience as a therapist, educator, SLP, OT, or other professional in our industry
Experience with health, wellness, or purpose-driven consumer brands
Prior work with affiliate or creator programs
Comfort reviewing content and giving directional feedback
Comfort building an early-stage program that will evolve
