IndigoX enables the company to build culturally relevant product, drive The Director of Strategy, IndigoX will serve as a strategic thought partner to the SVP, Head of P2M Transformation, with primary responsibility for strategic storytelling, executive communications, and enterprise engagement. This role ensures IndigoX has a clear, compelling narrative that aligns leadership, mobilizes cross-functional partners, and elevates understanding and adoption across the organization.This individual operates at the intersection of strategy, program leadership, and communications — translating complex transformation workstreams into crisp, executive-ready messaging that drives clarity, confidence, and action.What You'll DoStrategic Narrative & Executive StorytellingDevelop and evolve the IndigoX strategic narrative, clearly articulating transformation vision, priorities, milestones, and value realization.Build executive-level presentations and Board-ready materials that translate complex program details into compelling, actionable insights.Synthesize progress across workstreams (DPC, Speed to Market, Merch Planning & Inventory Optimization) into cohesive enterprise updatesShape the communication strategy for major transformation milestones to ensure clarity and buy-in at all levels.Enterprise Engagement & Community ActivationDesign and execute engagement strategies that increase awareness, understanding, and participation in IndigoX initiatives.Elevate program visibility through town halls, leadership forums, roadshows, digital content, and internal platforms.Partner with change management teams to embed messaging that reinforces new behaviors, capabilities, and ways of working.Act as a connector across brands and functions to ensure consistent messaging and alignment.Strategic Partnership with SVP/IndigoX and VPs/Pillar leadsServe as a trusted advisor and thought partner, helping structure leadership agendas, key decisions, and executive discussions.Frame tradeoffs, risks, and interdependencies across workstreams to support senior-level decision-making.Develop clear articulation of value realization, KPIs, and financial impact across transformation initiatives.Program Insight & RigorMaintain a strong understanding of transformation roadmaps, governance, and milestones to ensure messaging reflects current realities.Identify emerging risks, misalignments, or narrative gaps and proactively address them through structured communication.Translate data, analytics, and operational updates into simple, insight-driven stories for executive audiences.Ensure consistency between strategic intent, roadmap execution, and enterprise communication.Who You Are10–15+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, management consulting, or senior-level PMO roles within retail, consumer products, or complex enterprise environmentsDeep familiarity with Product-to-Market processes (product creation, merchandising, inventory, sourcing, production, or supply chain)Exceptional strategic storyteller with demonstrated experience building executive-level presentations and influencing senior leaders.Ability to distill complex, cross-functional transformation efforts into clear, compelling narratives.Proven ability to operate at multiple altitudes — comfortable diving into detail while maintaining a big-picture strategic lens.Strong relationship builder with experience influencing cross-functional and senior executive stakeholders.Comfortable with ambiguity and dynamic environments; able to prioritize and adapt quickly.Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint; strong executive communication presence.Benefits at Gap Inc.Merchandise discount for our brands: 50% off regular-priced merchandise at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta, and 30% off at Outlet for all employees.One of the most competitive Paid Time Off plans in the industry.*Employees can take up to five “on the clock” hours each month to volunteer at a charity of their choice.*Extensive 401(k) plan with company matching for contributions up to four percent of an employee’s base pay.*Employee stock purchase plan.*Medical, dental, vision and life insurance.*See more of the benefits we offer.*For eligible employees
