The Position We are seeking a high-performing Catering Account Manager to join our premier events team. This is a comprehensive leadership role designed for a professional who thrives on total project ownership.
At Best Impressions, we believe in a "full-circle" approach. Our Account Managers serve as the singular point of continuity for our clients—from the initial inquiry and menu design to on-site execution and the final event strike. You are not just selling an event; you are responsible for bringing it to life. We are looking for an individual with a refined command of hospitality logistics, exceptional writing skills, and the poise required to lead high-profile events for a discerning clientele.
Core Responsibilities
- End-to-End Account Management: Own the complete client relationship, including booking, contract negotiation, and final billing.
- On-Site Leadership: Act as the primary lead for assigned events, ensuring seamless execution and providing immediate, expert problem-solving.
- Menu & Proposal Design: Develop sophisticated proposals tailored to client needs while maintaining operational feasibility and high standards.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain meticulous records within our CRM and ensure all client correspondence is professional, timely, and brand-aligned.
- Venue Expertise: Conduct comprehensive site tours, demonstrating a deep understanding of venue capabilities and logistics.
Professional Qualifications
- Experience: A strong background in high-end catering, hospitality management, or luxury event sales preferred.
- Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service, including current culinary trends and service standards preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; the ability to interface with corporate executives and private clients with confidence and grace.
- Availability: A commitment to the hospitality schedule, including the evenings and weekends required to be present for your clients’ events.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in CRM software and the Google Suite.
