Loan Processor II
Performs a variety of duties to support the loan processing function as follows: Assists with all aspects of documenting loans consistent with applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations. Processes loan applications upon request from lenders. Gathers relevant data and information from necessary sources to process applications. Utilizes loan platform system to input loan applications, create loan-closing packages, including the gathering or creation of other necessary legal documents in accordance with procedure. Records mortgage documents, UCC/EFS financing statements, Brand Liens and title encumbrances. Complete files for denials and withdrawn loans. Assist borrower attorneys and paralegals with loan closing process as needed. Obtain evidence of insurance for collateral requirements, business documentation and searches, order appraisals/evaluations, UCC/EFS searches, flood searches, and title commitments as needed. Obtain HMDA determinations, and assist lenders with pending items following loan review process. Manage tickler exceptions for ongoing monitoring and trailing documents. Organize and file documents in accordance with procedures. Processes paid-off loans, ensuring the appropriate collateral is released. Provides loan support to all lenders and staff, which consists of fielding questions as they relate to policy, procedure, structuring and software. Prepares other relevant loan documentation support including, but not limited to, file maintenance, renewals, modifications etc. Provides for the payment of third-party expenses by obtaining approval for, invoices and forwarding them on to the Accounts Payable department. Coordinates with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Responds to inquiries and requests from other Bank personnel, customers, etc. within given periods and within established policy. Perform other related duties as assigned.
