Automotive Used Car Technician
Volkswagen of Santa Fe is seeking a skilled Automotive Used Car Technician to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing used vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and safety before being offered to our customers. Pay $23-$45 per flag hour Responsibilities
Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on used vehicles. Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and safety issues efficiently. Maintain accurate repair records and communicate job status with the service team. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Volkswagen quality standards. Work collaboratively with other technicians and service personnel to meet dealership goals. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Requirements
Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with used vehicles. Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical diagnostics. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Automotive certifications (e.g., ASE) preferred but not required. Benefits
