Customs Entry Writer (Import/Export) – Air & Ocean

We are seeking an experienced Customs Entry Writer / Customs Specialist to support import and export operations for a global logistics organization. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, international environment with strong growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit import entries in compliance with U.S. Customs regulations
• Handle ISF and AES filings accurately and on time
• Review shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, PGA, and other federal regulations
• Prioritize shipments based on ETA, service level, and mode of transport
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to resolve entry issues
• Maintain accurate records and update systems for tracking and billing

Requirements

• Experience as a Customs Entry Writer or Customs Brokerage Specialist (At least 1 year recent)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations for import/export (air and ocean)
• Experience with ISF and AES filings
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a deadline-driven environment
