Job Title: Requirements Analyst & Technical Writer (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Requirements Analyst & Technical Writer to support Electrophysiology R&D system and software engineering teams by developing clear, high-quality technical documentation. The role works closely with product managers, engineers, UX, QA, and other stakeholders to refine requirements and translate complex technical concepts into concise, structured documentation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage functional and non-functional requirements documentation and change control.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, feasible, testable, and aligned with ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148:2018 standards.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for requirements including baseline and version control.
  • Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices (RTMs) linking requirements to design, risk, and verification.
  • Edit and publish requirement specifications, software design, and verification documents.
  • Facilitate technical reviews and workshops with engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Software, QA/Regulatory, and Risk teams.
  • Participate in Agile activities such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement of documentation processes, tools, and workflows.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with requirements tools such as DOORS, Codebeamer, or Jama.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Ability to work independently and learn medical device regulations and quality processes.
