Branding & Graphic Design Specialist

Job Description

The Florida Sheriffs Risk Management Fund (FSRMF) seeks an experienced graphic designer for the position of Branding & Graphic Design Specialist. This is a full-time on-site role located in Tallahassee, FL. The Branding & Graphic Design Specialist is responsible for assisting internal staff with creating customized communication templates across multiple mediums, graphics, PowerPoint presentations, benefit guides, proposals and other electronic and printed materials for marketing and member communications. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Working with internal subject matter experts, create and update external communication pieces (including, but not limited to, benefit guides, brochures, posters, flyers, presentation templates, newsletters, etc.) using PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and other tools. 
• Create and maintain a library of customizable presentation templates and materials that are reliable, compliant with branding standards, and current in content style.
• Collaborate with teams to develop and implement uniform branding to be utilized across all FSRMF and FSEBT departments and create branding guidelines for use throughout the organization.
• Assist in the creation of marketing presentations for use by the Relationship Management/Engagement Team.
• Assist in the creation of Board meeting presentations for use by FSRMF and FSEBT Chiefs and the Executive Director during Board and Committee meetings.
• Work with subject matter experts to update website content to make sure it stays current and impactful.
• Support the development of materials for all events and conferences, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in communications, creative design, graphic design
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, layout, and typography
• Ability to generate unique concepts through sketching, mood boarding, and brainstorming to solve visual problems
• Ability to create logos, color palettes, and typograph sets that establish a brand’s unique identity
• The capability to create and adhere to brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints
• Experience creating graphics for print, digital, and presentation platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet timelines and manage multiple assignments
• Ability to work cross-functionally and process feedback from multiple sources
• Strong attention to detail

Preferences

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university in visual communications, graphic design, marketing, or related field, or an associate’s degree plus equivalent experience
• Adobe Certified Professional designation or similar designation

• This is an in-house position with FSRMF located in Tallahassee, FL; it is not a telecommute position.

Salary/Benefits

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 and is based on the candidate’s experience.
