Overview
The Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent ensures smooth front desk operations and oversees property departments during overnight hours, and acting as a Front Desk Agent during other hours. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, managing guest check-ins and room assignments, processing payments accurately, and addressing guest inquiries. You will also submit housekeeping and maintenance requests as needed, while creating a welcoming and memorable experience for all guests. This role prioritizes delivering prompt, courteous service to maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Conduct night audit procedures efficiently and accurately including verifying revenue from multiple sources and following up on discrepancies Check-in late-arriving guests and handle any guest inquiries or issues during the night shift Be able to assist with any reservations that come in overnight including requests from travel websites like Booking.com, Airbnb, etc. Process end-of-day reports and complete financial transactions Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Assist with guest services as needed during the night shift Other duties as assigned Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays Previous experience in a front desk or night audit role preferred Knowledge of hospitality/hotel industry Familiarity with hotel operations and procedures Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail Teamwork and collaboration Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors What can you look forward to?
