Overview We are seeking an experienced Property Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Madison, WI. This role will support affordable housing properties of up to 100+ units, making it ideal for candidates with property management industry experience particularly in LIHTC or Section 8 housing and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for properties of up to 100+ units, including leasing, move-ins and move-outs, and tenant relations Support or lead onsite staff to ensure smooth operations and strong team performance Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations (LIHTC, HUD, RD, Section 8, as applicable) Manage tenant records, rent collection, and reporting processes Assist with or lead resident communications and issue resolution
Requirements 1+ year of experience in the property management industry (leasing, Assistant PM, or Property Manager roles) Affordable housing experience (LIHTC, HUD, RD preferred) Must have a valid driver’s license
