Electrician Sr Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the HVAC Supervisor and Power House Supervisor in analyzing and repairing the hospital energy control system.
- Supports/assists the Engineering department by trouble shooting and repairing the controls of a variety of OR/special procedures equipment.
- Completes assigned work orders and PM orders to maintain the reliability and integrity of the electrical infrastructure in the hospital.
- Informs supervisor if additional resources are required to complete customer requests.
- Completes all PM orders pertaining to the fire alarm system and submits to the supervisor at the end of each working day.
- Evaluates and determines the resources necessary to accomplish electrical construction requirements for assigned renovation projects.
- Inspects and repairs all deficiencies relating to the fire alarm system to provide a hazard free environment for the patients, staff and visitors using the buildings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 6 years of experience in the electrical trade in a commercial or industrial environment. Minimum 3 years of experience analyzing and repairing control systems.
- Certification: Certification in the Electrical trade, OSHA Certification.
- Licensure: Electrical Journeyman's License or must work under supervision of a Master Electrician at the site.
