OverviewJob PurposeThe New York Stock Exchange is the world’s most iconic marketplace — and our ETF listings business is at the center of one of the fastest-growing segments in global capital markets.The Director, Exchange Traded Funds serves as a primary NYSE relationship manager for ETF and Closed‑End Fund issuers. The role requires strong business development capabilities, deep expertise in Exchange Traded Products, market structure, and proven experience managing complex client relationships. Candidates must be able to lead cross‑functional initiatives and possess a thorough understanding of the U.S. ETF regulatory landscape.ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentLead outreach to prospective ETF issuers and drive new listing and transfer opportunities.Oversee sales origination, onboarding, and launch processes to deliver a seamless NYSE listings experience.Tap into the broader ETF ecosystem to surface commercial opportunities that create value across NYSE and ICE Index and Data Services.ETF Issuer Strategy & Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for ETF and CEF issuers, building and maintaining long‑term relationships.Guide ETF issuers through the complexities of product viability, sales dynamics, trading considerations, and liquidity metrics.Cross‑Functional CollaborationAct as the liaison between issuers and NYSE internal teams such as Regulation, Legal, Operations, Events, and Marketing.Drive cross-functional alignment on technical, legal, and regulatory requirements to bring ETF listings from concept to reality.Market Structure & Ecosystem EngagementBuild and maintain relationships with ETP market makers, liquidity providers, and NYSE Floor DMMs.Maintain expertise in NYSE rules, trading operations, market structure, and platform offerings.Thought Leadership & External EngagementRepresent NYSE’s ETF and CEF listings businesses at industry events, conferences, and professional forums.Help build targeted sales materials that articulate NYSE’s competitive strengths.Keep a pulse on ETF trends, competitive moves, and regulatory shifts to stay one step ahead of competing platforms.Knowledge and Experience8+ years of ETF or ETF‑adjacent experience.Deep command of ETP rules, regulations, and capital markets’ processes.Strong relationships across ETF capital markets’ platforms and issuers.A track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from strategy through delivery.Willingness to travel for client engagement and industry events.New York Base Salary RangeThe expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $185,000 - 275,000 USD.

The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.

While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
