2-4 years of experience in CAD design within
manufacturing
or equipment industries
Working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD
Understanding of food manufacturing and/or industrial equipment systems
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Positive, team-oriented mindset with
ability
to manage multiple projects
Additional Details
Occasional overnight travel as needed
Hands-on role supporting both engineering and sales functions
Key Responsibilities
Develop strong knowledge of equipment specifications, components, and applications
Create AutoCAD layout drawings tailored to customer requirements
Prepare accurate equipment proposals and pricing packages
Partner with sales to deliver custom solutions for customer applications
Communicate with customers via phone and email to assess needs and recommend equipment
Manage quote support activities, including logging inquiries, tracking proposals, and maintaining records
Process purchase orders, issue confirmations, and create job folders for internal teams
Ensure proposal accuracy and maintain clear customer communication throughout the sales cycle
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers
