Job Overview As a
Gas Utility Leadman , you will report to and be the right hand to the crew Foreman, playing a key role in leading your crew through the installation and repair of gas lines while ensuring strict compliance with safety and quality standards. At our core, we operate as
One Team , where collaboration drives success. This means you'll not only lead by example but also roll up your sleeves and engage in general labor tasks as needed to keep projects on track.
What You'll Do
Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising all crew personnel on daily job tasks
Submit daily reports outlining daily job activities
Assist in managing work sequences to meet customer schedules
Comply with industry and customer operating procedures while ensuring safety and quality
In the interim absence of the Foreman, step in to lead the crew to remain operational
Maintain all industry‑required Operator Qualifications
Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
1+ years prior experience in gas utility industry

Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
Work includes prolonged and repeated lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crouching, and crawling
Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
Working safely requires quick/accurate hand‑eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Legal Stuff
Pass pre‑employment, random, post‑accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
Provide valid US work authorization documents for E‑Verify
Satisfactory results of pre‑employment background check results
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Pre‑employment medical fit‑for‑duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
Join and maintain Union membership
