Description
This position is responsible for managing smaller commercial and wholesale relationships without regard to geography, handling inbound smaller referrals from other areas of the bank and providing construction consulting for non-CRE construction loans.
Profile relationships will generally have less than $10MM in projected total borrower exposure.
Develops and facilitates the client's engagement through managing customer relationships, customer service interaction, credit and deposit services processes and other client/internal support responsibilities.
Position Accountabilities
Portfolio maintenance and management, including new originations, renewals, modifications, risk rating review, problem loan management, etc.
Coordinate client sales and service execution.
Support the Commercial Loan Specialist (CLS) group with construction consulting
Support other areas of the bank who are doing construction loans with construction consulting
Ensure that incoming customer requests, inquiries and escalated issues are solved in a consistent, professional manner.
Handle inbound referrals from Wholesale, Commercial and other areas of the bank.
Occasionally serve as backup to other Wholesale and Commercial bankers as needed.
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, as well as conformity with the bank's loan documentation, lending & administration policies.
Facilitate new account deposit openings and manage the cross-sell implementation of all related product set-ups. Actively manage overdrafts and loan payment issues needing correction.
Participation in projects, initiatives and committees to develop efficient, streamlined work processes.
Facilitate cross sales with other products and other areas of the bank.
Process advances on loans, account maintenance, research on client accounts and clearing exceptions as needed.
Work directly with Centralized Doc Prep (as appropriate) on preliminary loan closing requirements such as flood certifications, credit reports, appraisals, environmental reports, UCC searches or other reports as needed.
Work with outside counsel as appropriate on loan closings
Work with Centralized Commercial Credit (CCC) for approvals as appropriate
Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications
Education & Experience
College degree or relevant industry training (i.e. credit program, CCIM certification, RMA/ABA training)
Five+ years in wholesale/commercial banking
Knowledge & Skills
Familiarity with AUB platforms very important - Horizon XE, nCino, Precision Lender, etc
Superior customer service skills
Strong computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office Suites
Strong communication skills
Well organized with attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and large customer loads
Flexible, able to adapt to change
Superior time management and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Analytical skills
Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
