HR Classification Specialist $92,664.00 - $137,565.00 The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of a Classifier. This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Human Resources (OHR). The incumbent is responsible for writing and editing OCFO position descriptions in accordance with established guidelines. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: Preparing written evaluation statements, and documentation of position management studies and competitive levels to ensure application of sound classification and position management principles for a variety of professional, administrative and technical positions Assisting with planning and implementing reorganizations and realignment of positions for operational effectiveness and adherence to regulatory compliance Advising on classification impact when changing or creating duty assignments Reviewing requests for personnel and position actions to determine impact on position classification and position management matters Inputting classification related transactions into the automated personnel system Designing and generating reports Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications:
