
Real Estate Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a Real Estate Litigation Paralegal to support our litigation attorneys and serve as a key point of contact for clients throughout the litigation process. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong real estate experience, including title work and Master in Equity proceedings.
About the Role The successful candidate will manage litigation files from inception through resolution, maintain deadlines, assist with pleadings and discovery, and ensure exceptional client service at every stage. This position requires professionalism, discretion, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple active matters efficiently using Actionstep as our case management system.
Responsibilities
Serve as a client advocate by providing timely, professional, and compassionate communication throughout the litigation process
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Manage real estate litigation files from opening through resolution
Assist with civil actions filed in Master in Equity court, including preparation and filing of pleadings and related documentation
Draft, file, and manage pleadings, motions, and court filings
Prepare and assist with discovery, including requests, responses, and document production
Track and manage litigation deadlines, hearings, and trial schedules
Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and litigation-related meetings
Draft demand letters and other litigation correspondence
Review and analyze real estate title work in connection with litigation matters
Assist with title claims investigation and resolution
Provide direct support to handling attorneys as assigned
Accurately document case activity, deadlines, and communications in Actionstep
Ensure all assigned matters are handled efficiently, accurately, and thoughtfully
Qualifications
Experience handling civil actions in Master in Equity court required
Experience reviewing real estate title work required
Experience with title claims investigation and resolution required5+ years of paralegal experience in real estate litigation preferred
Strong computer skills, including document management and case management systems
Experience with Actionstep or similar legal CMS highly preferred
