Communications Specialist

SBS is hiring a Communications Specialist to join the existing team in the Fulton, Jefferson City, Missouri area. This role sits at the intersection of visual design and strategic communications, supporting internal and external audiences across print, digital, and video channels. Collaborate with Corporate Communications Team on earned and owned channel initiatives. You'll work closely with site leadership to help shape how the organization communicates — from day-to-day messaging to long-term communications planning. If you're someone who's equally comfortable building out a digital signage network and advising a senior leader on messaging strategy, this could be a great fit. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field 3+ years of professional communications experience, including writing, graphic design, and production Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Publisher), and SharePoint Experience with video tools such as iMovie is a plus Strong visual storytelling skills — infographics, digital signage, video graphics, web graphics Solid understanding of digital platforms and content management systems Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively on a communications team Bonus points if you have: A portfolio showcasing design and visual communication work Experience working with field employees or mixed-audience organizations A track record of advising leadership on communications strategy #J-18808-Ljbffr
