Overview This positionisresponsible for driving awareness and participation in utility programs through strategic communication and community outreach by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned. Blend digital and traditional marketing, manage promotional events, and conduct market research to identify opportunities for the industry and member communities. Design, implement, and track marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, radio, TV) to promote utility services, including, but not limited to energy efficiency programs and rebates, and the Value of Public Power. Track and analyze basic statistical information from tools such as Google Analytics and other reporting software. Translate numerical data into meaningful insights that support communication and marketing decisions. Collaborate with teams and members to create engaging content, marketing materials, and website updates. Produce or edit visual content such as slide decks (PowerPoint), infographics, charts, maps, other graphic data, and short-form video content as needed. Manage websites, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), email marketing, and developing content for digital platforms. Writing and designing engaging content as needed using brand guidelines, audience insights, and industry best practices. Plan, promote, and attend industry or member events or sponsored programs. Responsibilities Plan and execute community events, public meetings, trade shows, and pop-up activities to increase the Value of Public Power presence and educate the public and member customers. Design and produce promotional materials, including brochures, banners, newsletters, and digital ads using creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. Manage promotional budgets and analyze campaign performance metrics. Research utility trends, activities, and market opportunities to inform strategy. Manage relationships with advertising agencies, vendors, and third-party partners. Serve as a primary point of contact for external marketing agencies, vendors, and community partners. Coordinate projects as needed. Conduct research to identify demographic trends, customer needs, and emerging utility industry trends. Stay current on trends, tools, and best practices by maintaining technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies. Some travel to member locations required. May attend or present at planned conferences with occasional overnight stays. Represent MRES on industry, development, and project committees, task forces, and conferences as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
