Are you an experienced estimator with a passion for construction projects? We’re looking for a
Construction Estimator
to join a dynamic team working on projects across Hampton Roads. Why This Role Matters: You’ll play a critical role in shaping accurate, competitive bids that keep projects on track and within budget. From analyzing plans and specs to collaborating with project managers and trade partners, your expertise will drive success from preconstruction through award. What You’ll Do: ✔ Prepare detailed estimates projects ✔ Perform quantity takeoffs and review drawings/specifications ✔ Evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotes for accuracy and competitiveness
What We’re Looking For: Prepare and review detailed project estimates and proposals Lead and support the estimating team and bid process Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements Develop pricing strategies and meet tight bid deadlines Partner with project managers and leadership on budgets Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation Build strong vendor and subcontractor relationships Qualifications 5+ years of estimating experience Strong blueprint and technical document interpretation skills Proficiency with estimating software, CAD, and MS Office Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Federal experience a plus Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
