Job Description
The Director of Operations will serve as a leader who drives execution across a diverse set of operational domains including:
Finance and operational governance Vendor and contract management Internal and external communications Global real estate Project management leadership
This role is responsible for translating strategic goals into actionable plans, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operations leader with deep experience in corporate environments, exceptional communication skills, and a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Core Responsibilities
Finance & Operational Governance Serve as operational liaison for the finance team, supporting budget planning, and reporting Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements. Track and report on operational KPIs, including cost efficiency and resource utilization. Assess and identify areas of operational improvement. Build plans, gain support, and implement. Workforce planning, budgeting and working closely with the FP&A team. Assist with integration for acquisition implementation
Vendor & Contract Management Utilize software tools to track and manage vendor agreements. Work to consolidate the number of vendors across the firm and reduce the number. Drive better prices and negotiate savings. Report savings quarterly. Find ways to create firm-wide preferred vendor program and drive measurable savings. Work closely with the legal team and other functions to create a smooth process.
Internal & External Communications Manage internal and external communications, such as conducting town halls, cross-strategy presentations, management committee meetings, and other events for key stakeholders as required. Develop management and board level presentations as required. Write as needed to assist the executive team with internal and external communication. Develop and maintain communication protocols for crisis management and sensitive disclosures. Oversee strategy and corporate re-branding rollout being done by the firm’s marketing partner. Partner closely with the firm’s marketing partner and serve as a project manager for any ongoing marketing efforts.
Global real estate Assist in managing the firm’s real estate portfolio, including office space planning, lease management, and vendor coordination. Lead assessments of the current physical footprint and develop recommendations for future space needs as the firm scales. Collaborate with finance and HR to align real estate strategy with headcount growth and operational efficiency.
Project Management Leadership Act as the central project manager for firm-wide initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery across departments. Implement project tracking systems and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. Proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks, and escalate issues to executive sponsors as needed. General office operations.

8-10 years of experience in operations, project management, or event coordination, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment. Bachelor’s degree (Business preferred) Proven ability to manage a team of direct reports as well as work cross-functionally with people who do not report to you. Exceptional strategic organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Superb written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. High level of professionalism, discretion and integrity. Experience supporting executive-level communications and presentations. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
