Title: Project Designer | Corporate Interiors

Client : Our client, located in NYC, provides architecture, interior design and planning solutions for their corporate interior and retail clients.

Description: The Designer candidate will work directly with the design team on the firm’s corporate accounts. Successful candidates must have skills in space planning and design development including the ability to create diversified design concepts and coordinate with the design team on furniture, finishes, and materials selection for a variety of client types. This role functions as a member of the team and is responsible for being engaged in all design aspects of projects – programming, planning, and coordination with architectural team – to deliver the highest quality of work meeting our client’s expectations. It is important that candidates maintain excellent client and vendor relationships, have clear communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple design projects efficiently.

They are seeking someone who: Possesses knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems, and specifications. Is capable and has a creative approach to the use of colors and materials with outstanding graphic presentation skills. Will be responsible for maintaining the design library including managing weekly vendor product updates and monthly all office accredited lunch-and-learns. Has the proven ability to self-manage under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Has computer graphic design and 3D rendering skills (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign/ Photoshop), SketchUp, Enscape, etc.)

Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of design experience on NYC-based corporate interiors projects Project experience in all phases of design A professional degree in architecture or interior design Fluent in AutoCAD and basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint (Other design-related programs are a plus) Highly organized with an attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills New York/Tri-State area resident preferred Be a U.S. citizen, or Lawful Permanent Resident

Salary / Hourly: 70-80k
