Our client, a leading childrenswear brand, is seeking a Design Director to join their team in New York!
Responsibilities: Oversee the development and growth of the division. Lead the creative direction, merchandising and design process for all categories. Manage product direction and execution, ensuring brand consistency across all collections. Handle all approvals, updates, and adjustments throughout the product lifecycle. Guide and mentor the design team, leading creative meetings and fostering collaboration.
Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in design for baby or children's apparel. Strong leadership, organizational, and presentation abilities. Comprehensive knowledge of the baby apparel market. Proficiency in: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. Ability to concept design solutions with limited direction. Ability to think outside the box and awareness of print and digital trends. Extremely detail oriented, well organized, strong problem solving skills.
Salary: $150-200k commensurate of experience
