We are seeking a Senior Associate that will perform real estate appraisals of commercial and residential properties, real estate developments and undeveloped real estate for dispute scenarios, purchase price allocation, financing, restructuring, etc. Litigation experience is a benefit but not a must.
What You’ll Be Working On: As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in client engagements that require rigorous analysis, strategic thinking, and clear communication.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring all valuation assignments are completed in full compliance with USPAP standards
Developing and maintaining client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and proactive engagements
Collaborating closely with internal financial experts and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, comprehensive analyses
Serving as a real estate valuation expert in legal proceedings, including providing testimony when required
Managing project scopes, timelines, and budgets by understanding assignment requirements, overseeing workflow, and keeping senior team members and clients informed of progress
Exhibits strong leadership qualities and uphold the highest standards of professional integrity
Maintaining accountability for delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality work products for clients

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited college/university
Prior experience in commercial real estate valuation, tax appeals, condemnation and special purpose property
Currently holding a State Certified General Appraisal License
Experience handling tax appeals, condemnation matters, and valuation of special-purpose properties
Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend, evaluate, and interpret complex business documentation
Ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality work within deadline-driven environments
Skilled at delivering clear, persuasive presentations on complex topics to clients and legal counsel
Experienced in reviewing and analyzing detailed business and financial reports prepared by opposing experts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of software packages including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Willingness and ability to travel as required
