Identifies, engages, trains and coordinates pro-Israel political activists on major college campuses, integrating them into the national pro-Israel political movement.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Regular campus visits to designated campuses
Builds relationships with campus professionals and student leaders on priority campuses
Recruits for and runs programs at AIPAC training conferences, including, but not limited to the Political Student Leadership Summit, Campaign Training Institute, Leadership Retreat, and AIPAC Congressional Summit
Works with student leadership on each campus to design campus- and community-specific action plans
Mobilizes campus activists for pro-Israel political impact
Maintains contact with movement activists to advance and monitor progress of campus initiatives
Reports regularly on campus accomplishments to department leadership, regional colleagues, and other stakeholders
Other departmental responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate experience
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant and recent on-campus experience
Command of issues affecting the US-Israel relationship
Familiarity with American legislative and electoral politics
Willingness to spend extensive time traveling
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent public speaking ability
AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between
$52,000.00 and $60,000.00
for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate’s skills and experience match the role’s requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ overall total compensation package. We currently work remotely two days a week and in our offices the other three. AIPAC is an equal-opportunity employer.
